Introduction
Geographical situation
The Bankim Protestant Health centre is located in Bankim subdivision, Mayo-Banyo Division in the Adamaoua Province. Bankim is located 115km from Banyo and 90km from Foumbam (West Province). The local populations of Bankim are: Tikar, Mabila, Kwandja. But we have also other tribes like Yaba, Bamoun, Banso (North West), Fulanies, Mousgoum, Kotoko, Djoukoum from Nigeria, etc…
History
The Bankim Protestant Health Center was created in 1954.
Inheritance of the chiefs center
Mrs Guri Solla was the last one to lead the Center.

- Guebou Thimothée;
TENMBAR Jacques was the 1st Cameroonian nurse to lead the Center. He was replaced by TINDANKIR Benoit and after that from 2006 until now the Center is lead by M. LEMKA JEAN Pierre.
Evoluation
The Bankim Protestant Health Centre has 10 buildings, and three are personnel’s houses. This is one of the biggest Centres in the OSEELC.
Personnel situation
The Bankim Protestant Health Centre has 12 staffs:
- One Registered Nure;
- One Nurse;
- Two Laboratory Technicians;
- Four Aid Nurses;
- Three Help Auxiliaries;
- One Cleaner;
- One Night Watchman.
