History

The Ngaoundere Protestant Hospital, which is certainly the reference Hospital of all the Health Facility in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon, (OSEELC) is part of this Church. It was called a different group of Health centers which the first of them was created since the 30th 1936. So far, called the Health Facility, he becomes now Health System since 1994. The designation of Health Center was adopted since the advent of a Primary Health Care. In fact, the Health System was not going to do only the curative Health, but also the Promotional Health System between others, according to the Bamako initiative. He’s transformation in Health System is also the consequences reasoned of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cameroon Independence, which happened in 1975. Before this date, the EELC was under the supervision of the Norwegian Missionary Society (NMS) and the American Mission (SM). It was the beginning of the camerounization of the responsibilities. Their By-Law was adopted the 10th of March 1994 and for his personals the 18th of April 1994.

  • The Ngaoundere Dental Clinic
  • The Ngaoundere Lutheran Eye Clinic (CLON)

The OSEELC Direction (DOSEELC) is based in the state level of the Ngaoundere OSEELC. Dr. Daniel SALPOU is the actual Director. OSEELC Direction is composed by services which are:
